      The ISS Global Management Trainee Programme is a stepping-stone for people with management potential to become the leaders of the future in an ambitious international company.       In the intensive 18-month ISS Global Management Trainee Programme, we expect you to work hard – starting with the demanding recruitment process. We are looking for the very best people to lead ISS into the future, and that means only a few applicants from each country make it through to final selection.       The Trainee Journey

      As an ISS management trainee, you will receive a thorough introduction to our business, starting with insights into the organisation at regional, national and global levels.

      To build your understanding of the ISS culture at work, you will be fast-forwarded through a mini ‘career’ in tours of duty in our service organisation. You will gain insight into our global footprint when we send you to a new country for three months during the programme. There, you will focus on a selected segment, where you will complete a commercial and operational internship and manage a relevant project. 
       
      As a part of the programme, you will work as assistant manager to one of our key account managers in order to learn the main business tools we use at ISS to meet customer challenges. Here, your training will explore customer needs at strategic, tactical and operational levels – as well as the formulation of a coherent value proposition.

      With this once-in-a-lifetime career opportunity, development of your leadership capabilities is a thread that runs through the whole programme. You will be allocated a personal mentor from the national management team who will act as your coach and sponsor within the organisation, and support you in your personal development plan.       Who are you?

      Who is the ideal candidate for the ISS Global Management Trainee Programme? First, you must have a business-related degree and relevant work experience, either from an internship/job during your studies or from a commercial position (for example, in account management, sales or consultancy). 
       
      As a person, you enjoy complex challenges and demonstrate the right analytical, decision-making and executive potential for supporting customers in their business development. Most importantly, you are able to balance your ambitious mind-set with a respectful and empathetic attitude towards the people around you. You are also a strong communicator – with the capability to enter a dialogue at all levels of the organisation and, above all, to ‘walk the talk’.

      Audit Trainee Programme

      The KPMG Audit Trainee Programme is a 2-year programme aimed at developing your technical skills as an auditor. The trainee programme starts with a week-long on-boarding programme, where you will meet the other graduates and trainees, learn about KPMG and receive the training you need to start your career.

      As a trainee, you will receive audit technical training and personal development training. At the same time, you will be enrolled in an HD programme to learn the fundamentals. In addition to learning classic audit techniques, where you will apply your knowledge from your studies to the job, you will also work with new technologies as we focus on digitalizing the audit process at KPMG. We believe in harnessing the power of artificial intelligence and using disruptive data and analytics tools to make audit more modern and relevant for today’s society.

      As an audit trainee, you will be assigned a mentor who will guide you in your job and answer all your questions. On top of that, you will also have a performance manager.       Praktikplads

      En praktikplads er ikke altid let at finde. Men en af årsagerne til, at man ikke kan finde en praktikplads kan skyldes, at man kun kigger i sit nærområde, altså tæt på, der hvor man bor.

      Når du søger praktikplads, så skal du derfor ikke begrænse dig til kun at søge efter:

      • Praktikpladser København
      • Praktikpladser Århus
      • Praktikpladser Odense
      • Praktikpladser Aalborg

      Der ligger eksempelvis en lang række gode produktionsvirksomheder, og hovedkontorer for alle mulige brands, ude i forstæderne til København. Så i dette tilfælde kan du vælge at søge praktikplads i Storkøbenhavn, eller helt specifikt en praktikplads i eksempelvis Valby eller Albertslund.

      Faktisk kan du med metro, bus, letbane eller samkørsel let komme fra A til B. Måske kan du i din jobsamtale spørge efter, om der er andre i virksomheden, der bor tæt på dig, så du kan få en kørelejlighed frem og tilbage til din praktikplads.

      Praktikant

      Når du er praktikant, så er der typisk tale om nogle få måneders ansættelse. Du skal derfor gøre alt for, at du får lært så meget som muligt på kortest mulig tid.

      Virksomheden har typisk samme interesse idét de gerne vil have gavn af dig, imens du arbejder som praktikant i virksomheden.

      Men forvent ikke at du selv kan vælge og vrage imellem dine arbejdsopgaver, og du har heller ikke status af at være direktør. Vis derimod via de arbejdsopgaver, som du får stillet, at du er dygtig til dit arbejde, og du er en lærenem praktikant.

      Søg praktikplads

      Som omtalt tidligere, så er det en fordel for dig, hvis du søger på et geografisk større område. Søger du eksempelvis praktikpladser inden for kommunikation og markedsføring, og kun vil arbejde hos de helt store marketingbureauer i København K nær Strøget, så har du lavet din flaskehals for din jobsøgning alt for lille.

      Derfor søg praktikplads hos forskellige størrelser virksomheder – både de kendte og de mindre kendte virksomheder.

      Når du laver din praktikplads ansøgning, så prøv at finde noget, som gør, at du skiller dig ud. Det kan være, du sender en lille video, eller på anden måde gør dig positivt bemærket.

      Praktikant løn

      Som udgangspunkt kan du ikke modtage SU ved siden af din praktikant løn, når der er tale om et meritgivende praktikophold. Tjek med din studievejleder eller SU-styrelsen for nærmere information.

      Din praktik løn kan variere fra 0 kroner til flere tusinde kroner. Så tjek lige, hvad din praktikplads tilbyder, inden du siger ja tak til at blive virksomhedens nye praktikant.
