Leisure job over 18

When you are looking for a job and are over 18, there are a number of advantages and disadvantages for you:

  1. You now receive a salary as an 18-year-old - either as skilled or unskilled. That in itself is wonderful. But if you are unskilled, you are now competing with the unskilled who have not turned 18. And they get a smaller salary than you, which can give the younger job applicants a competitive advantage
  2. You have to work at night - even if you study during the day. Since you can obtain a night allowance, it can be an advantage for you. Conversely, your night work must not go beyond your studies and your preparation in that context
  3. You have to serve alcohol, and in that way a gate of new job opportunities opens up. Many restaurants and cafes are looking for waiters and waiters (skilled and unskilled)
  4. If you have a driving license, you can work as a courier. You can also pick up items for the restaurant or shop where you work
